Network Issues update 10.00 14/11/2022

The network has continued to remain stable over the weekend. Generally, the beginning of the working week is the most busy, therefore we are continuing to closely monitor performance as demand on the network increases throughout today and tomorrow.

We will be in touch later today to provide a further update.

Please visit the IT Status Page for the latest information.

Update 11/11/2022 - 5.00pm

The network has continued to remain stable throughout today and has responded well to testing and monitoring over the past 48 hours.

We apologise for the inconvenience this has caused. As per usual process, we firstly had to eliminate the potential of a cyber-attack which took a great deal of time and effort. Our investigations have identified that the issue with our IT systems arose due to unexpected errors with some of our hardware. This triggered an extremely rare and difficult to identify ‘bug’. We have been working closely with our supplier and believe this has now been resolved.

Whilst stability has returned, work is still ongoing to replace the hardware to avoid risk of reoccurrence.

IT Services will continue to monitor performance over the weekend. Thank you for your support, patience and understanding.

Please visit the IT Status Page for the latest information.
