IT network issues

You may be aware that this week we have been experiencing some issues with our IT network across campuses, which has been intermittently affecting access to some of our systems and Wi-Fi.

The majority of services are now available, and we are working with our suppliers to rectify any remaining issues. The network and related services are still to be considered at risk.

On-site learning and teaching is continuing, so please attend all of your timetabled activities unless advised otherwise by your teaching team.

Due to the ongoing issues, module leaders are able to introduce extensions for certain assessments that were due to be submitted this week to mitigate for these circumstances. This will be at the discretion of faculties and module leaders – if it applies to your assessment, you will be notified by your teaching staff. Therefore, you do not need to submit an extenuating circumstance claim, unless you have other exceptional circumstances to be considered.

If any international students were unable to log into Study Goal due to disruption in Wi-Fi on Monday (7 November) or Tuesday (8 November), please let your course leader know, who will be able to inform the Academic Registry team of your attendance.
