A personal data breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal data.
We ask that all students inform the University’s Data Protection Officer if they become aware of any data breach or incident involving personal information processed (held) by the University. We rely on staff and students reporting these incidents at the earliest opportunity so we can put any measures in place to contain the incident and act accordingly and responsibly.
