As the University moves to remote learning and delivery of services, we wanted to remind you that USW Learning Services are still here to support you. Many of our services are already online and are providing a wide range of online resources.

USW Library

The online library is always open – search FINDit to find thousands of ebooks and electronic resources, or use the specialist library and subject guides for help with your research. Online chat is available 24/7 and you can also book an online appointment with your Faculty Librarian. 

USW Careers

The careers website has plenty of resources and links to all of the careers services. Find the latest jobs and events, including online events, and use MyCareer to understand yourself and develop the skills employers are looking for.  All careers appointments are available via Skype and the Ask a Question service is running as normal.

Study Skills Service

Study Skills provides a wide range of online self-help resources including help with academic skills such referencing, research, maths and statistics plus specialist study skills for students with additional learning needs. The study skills team are continuing to provide support via email tutorials, Collaborate and telephone.

IT Support

IT Support aim to help your interactions with technology run smoothly and to resolve any queries by providing information or remoting into your machine to fix a problem. You can contact IT Support online or via telephone.

Carry on Learning

You can continue your studies online using a range of software and tools such as the Blackboard App, many of which are available on mobile devices as well as desktops. Online teaching can be delivered in a number of ways including via Skype, pre-recorded lectures and embedded videos. Please check your email and Blackboard regularly for any updates.
