USW has again recorded an increase in the Overall Satisfaction rating of the National Student Survey (NSS), the results of which were announced today.
Now at 83%, the Overall Satisfaction score has increased by 5% over the past two years.
USW has improved on or equalled many of the 2018 scores and is above the sector average on all classroom-based ratings. We are also at or above benchmark on all questions.
Professor Martin Steggall, USW Pro-Vice Chancellor, said:
“These results recognise the efforts of every single member of staff at USW, whether academic or professional support, and the contribution they continue to make in improving the experiences of students. It is a fantastic achievement, and one that cannot be underestimated.
The NSS is a key metric in university performance, and, while we celebrate today’s successes, we know there is still work to do to, and will relentlessly continue the pursuit of excellence in all that we do together."
