Extenuating Circumstances Claims Deadline: 23rd May 2017

May 11, 2017

The final date to submit Extenuating Circumstances claims for the 2016/17 academic session is 12.00 midday on Tuesday 23rd May 2017.

There may be a small number of courses exempt from this deadline. You can check with your Campus Advice Zone if you are not sure.

All claims must be made on the official extenuating circumstances form and must be supported by appropriate independent evidence. Incomplete claims or claims without evidence will not be accepted.

For further information and advice and to obtain the relevant forms please contact your Campus Advice Zone.

Any claims submitted after the deadline will not be accepted. Any student who believes that they have good reason for being unable to submit an extenuating circumstances claim prior to the deadline, can consider making an appeal through the Academic Appeals regulations to appeal against the decision of the assessment board.

You are strongly recommended to discuss the appeal process with your Campus Advice Zone.
