Book your place now and join the Ethical Business Spring Conference, hosted by the University’s Business Accountability and Responsibility Centre (BARC) on Tuesday 4 April 2017.
The conference will be held on Treforest campus, commencing in room TC013, from 9:30am until 2:45pm.
The conference will explore a number of aspects regarding 'Ethical Business’, at a time when businesses are under significant pressure both to maximise profits and to operate in a socially responsible way.
The morning will consist of a series of talks from academics who will explore key areas such as supply chain liability, employer responsibilities, transparency and corporate governance.
After lunch, the afternoon programme will move to Brecon Building, room B1, ready for our first keynote speaker, Mick Antoniw AM, Counsel General. Mick will be followed by Nicola Round, Campaigns Manager at Labour Behind the Label, who will discuss the significance of transparency. The conference will finish with our third keynote speaker Prith Biant, founder of Shift Makers, who will talk about her new community interest company.
