October 9, 2008

Details of the Student Money Service and obtaining bank letters at the ATRiuM.

Student Money Service

A Money Adviser will be based at the ATRiuM in CA26 every Tuesday and Friday during term time, from 10am – 12pm and 2pm – 4pm.

To book an appointment to see an Adviser, please go to the Advice Centre Reception Desk (in the main ATRiuM foyer).

If you have documents to drop off for the attention of the Student Money Service, please hand them in at the Advice Centre Reception and they will be forwarded on.

Bank letters

If you are a non-UK student and need a letter to open a bank account, please visit the Banking facilities page for further information. You can print off an application form there and hand it in, together with a clear copy of your passport, at the Advice Centre Reception Desk (in the main ATRiuM foyer). A letter will then be produced for you within 4–5 working days. If you have any queries regarding this process, please call the Student Money Service on 01443 483778.

If you are UK student, and you need a letter from the University to open a bank account, you should request a letter from the Advice Centre which provides information about your status as a University of Glamorgan student. If you require further information about this, please enquire at the Advice Centre.
